What Is a Duct Cleanroom Panel?
A duct cleanroom panel replaces separate sheet metal and lagging with a faced insulation board. Panels are cut, folded and flanged into supply, return or exhaust ducts with a sealed, clean internal airway.
Built-in insulation avoids exposed fibre and limits condensation. The smooth facing resists dust and wipes clean for controlled air distribution, while core options adjust insulation and fire performance.
Part of Wonclean's cleanroom sandwich panel range, the duct panel complements our insulated wall and ceiling panels — such as the PU and PIR panels — for a complete cleanroom envelope and air-distribution package.

Panel Duct vs Traditional Sheet-Metal Duct
| Feature | Wonclean Panel Duct | Traditional GI Sheet Duct |
|---|---|---|
| Insulation | Built in — no separate lagging | Add-on external insulation needed |
| Condensation | Resisted by the core | Risk on bare metal in cold runs |
| Weight & speed | Light, fast to cut & assemble | Heavier, more support & labour |
| Interior cleanliness | Smooth, dust-free, no fibre | Seams; lining can shed fibre |

Expert FAQ on Duct Cleanroom Panels
Why use a panel duct instead of galvanized sheet-metal duct?
Integrated insulation removes separate lagging and reduces condensation. Lightweight boards assemble quickly into smooth, low-leakage ducts.
Does it prevent condensation on cold-air ducts?
Yes. A closed-cell core around λ 0.022–0.023 W/m·K and sealed joints maintain the vapour barrier.
What fire rating is available?
PIR reaches Class B1; an A-grade mineral-core option is available where non-combustibility is required.
How clean is the inner airway, and does it leak?
The smooth, fibre-free airway and sealed flanges limit dust and leakage, supporting stable pressure and airflow.
Can you supply any duct size and thickness?
Boards are available in 25/50 mm or custom thickness with PU or PIR cores, cut to the required duct schedule.
What are the lead time and minimum order?
Typical lead time is 10–15 days for samples or small orders and 20–25 days for a full container, subject to specification.
